This is a split role supporting two strategic programmes: B2B Growth and Customer First Loyalty. 

 

The successful candidate will be a proactive, self-starting PMO professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can quickly become an effective member of the team. Highly organised and delivery-focused, they will be comfortable managing competing priorities, driving governance, and operating with minimal supervision. 

 

The Programme PMO Lead will own programme planning, governance, RAID management, reporting, financial tracking, and stakeholder communications across both programmes. Working closely with Business, Product, Engineering, and Delivery leads, they will ensure effective control of scope, schedule, budget, risks, dependencies, and quality. 

 

As the primary PMO contact, they will drive consistency, transparency, and robust programme controls, ensuring risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions are actively managed and communicated. They will also coordinate governance forums and provide clear, executive-level reporting to senior stakeholders. 

 

Role overview:

  • Providing program structure, detailed plans and all governance, programme stakeholders, senior steering groups and programme working groups
  • Support with the creation of programme budgets, management, and reporting of programme financials (i.e., budget vs. actuals) (Risks/Opps) 
  • Controlling overall project budget, develop & maintain project scope, deliverables and change control processes. 
  • Ensuring all PMO & IT quality review gates are met (with support from DPM) 
  • Ensure clear ownership, maintenance, and reporting of plans and KPI's in place 
  • Establish and lead the RAID Management process. 
  • Ensure clear ownership and reporting of programme status to SteerCo and other governing bodies. 
  • Ensure Standard project management tools and principles are used throughout ensuring integration with the overall B2B team. 
  • Maintenance of resourcing within the program, 
  • Support with all contractor extensions (incl. setting up new starters, taking them through onboarding etc.) 
  • Complete other PMO tasks as required (i.e., support with RAID management, status reporting, pulling together programme governance packs / reports, support the change request process etc.) 
  • Managing the supplier management process – managing SoWs, raising POs and contract signing  
  • Manage the Programme weekly/Monthly communication/Newsletter. 
  • Co-ordinating and presenting in senior leadership meetings as required.  

 

Required Skills & Experience: 

  • Significant experience in the management of projects and/or programmes of increasing complexity 
  • Experience managing dependencies across programmes and portfolios 
  • Strong stakeholder management across senior leadership (HoDs/ExCo) and delivery teams 
  • Programme Management, Project Planning & Control, Project Risk Management, & Budgetary control as a core competence 
  • Ability to challenge constructively and hold teams to account on delivery standards 
  • Ability to manage through systems & execute strategy 
  • Strong experience in managing key stakeholders 
  • Experience in similar B2B programmes preferred 
  • Ability to lead engagement with outsourcing partner suppliers 
  • Highly experienced Delivery PMO Lead who has managed large scale complex programmes. 
  • Knowledge / experience of Retail an advantage
