Currys is a brand with a familiar name and a recognisable look and feel. From streamlining our processes to enhancing our digital offering with ShopLive 24/7 video shopping​ and RepairLive​, we’re a brand that’s always looking ahead and adapting to the needs and demands of customers, alongside protecting our planet. 

And it all started in 1884 with the creation of the original Currys brand. Since then, we’ve constantly grown and evolved. In 2021, Dixons Carphone became Currys, consolidating Currys PC World, Carphone Warehouse and Team Knowhow into one brand and the business we are today: forward-focused and proud to help customers find and enjoy the technology they want. 

We know our people – the ones who sell, the ones who serve, the ones who support – are the secret to our success. They’re the ones making amazing happen for our millions of customers, time and time again. That’s why everything we do is so they can thrive, like introducing hybrid working for suitable roles or shaping an inclusive culture where everyone belongs. Put simply, we’re creating a clearer, simpler place to work, where all our colleagues have the support they need to perform at their best. 

Through progress and innovation, we have integrated stores, online and mobile to create a seamless customer experience – making us a true omnichannel business. Behind the scenes, there’s a vast operation spanning the UK and Ireland, Hong Kong and the Nordics. As well as international stores and facilities, there are 19 distribution hubs around the country, plus five contact centres, over 300 stores and our main base is the Currys London campus at Waterloo. We also have access to all UK WeWork offices and other Currys regional workspaces that support the hybrid working model available for suitable roles.
