Role overview:
Senior Campaign Manager
London
Currys London Campus at Waterloo
Permanent
Full Time
Grade 4
We’re iD Mobile, one of the UK’s leading mobile virtual network operators. We launched in May 2015 and have over 2.5 million Pay Monthly customers. We’re pretty sure our success has a lot to do with our wide range of feature-packed plans. We offer everything from super-value Pay-as-you-go and SIM-only deals, right up to the latest smartphones from the big-name manufacturers. We’re delighted about our success so far and have very ambitious plans for the future.
iD Mobile is an exciting place to work. We’re a relatively young and dynamic start-up, and we value innovation, imagination, and creativity. If you’ve got a great idea, we’ll help you run with it. We’re passionate about finding new ways to address our customers’ needs. We’re a little different to other start-ups though, because we’re part of Currys PLC, Europe's leading electrical and mobile retailer. So, while iD Mobile has only been going for a few years, we’re part of a much bigger family.
The Senior Campaign Manager leads the delivery of all customer campaigns across the iD subscription lifecycle, ensuring communications are timely, relevant and commercially effective. The role supports the Senior CRM Manager in shaping and executing a data‑driven CRM strategy that leverages new insights, mar‑tech capabilities, propositions and content to drive revenue growth, customer engagement and long‑term retention.
Role overview:
As part of this role, you’ll be responsible for:
- Lead the planning and end‑to‑end delivery of all lifecycle campaigns, ensuring every customer communication aligns with business, product and commercial goals.
- Build, deploy and optimise multi‑channel campaigns (including Push Notifications), applying best‑practice QA, testing and continuous improvement.
- Use data to deepen segmentation and personalisation, identifying new data‑capture opportunities and proposing predictive or propensity‑based audience approaches.
- Collaborate closely with data & insight teams to support both tactical decisions and longer‑term CRM strategy.
- Manage CRM platforms, automation and tooling, including configuration, workflow design and project scoping, ensuring stable, accurate and scalable delivery.
- Oversee key strategic partners and platforms, driving incremental ROI and operational quality.
- Represent CRM at senior leadership forums, providing updates, insights and recommendations to SLT.
- Line‑manage a team of CRM Managers and Leads, supporting capability development, process improvement and overall team growth.
You will need:
- Leading a high‑volume, agile CRM campaign operation across complex subscription journeys, ensuring rapid, accurate and commercially‑driven delivery.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (preferred) and Adobe, including data structures, workflow logic, journey orchestration and QA processes.
- Developing and owning robust test‑and‑learn programmes, analysing performance, identifying insights and shaping new strategies to improve core KPIs.
- Providing critical and strategic review of creative, data and targeting briefs, ensuring all CRM output is customer‑centric, brand‑aligned and commercially sound.
- Experienced in hybrid working environments, including remote project management, cross‑functional collaboration and virtual delivery.
- Hands‑on experience with Movable Ink, and a CMS (template design tool).
- Background in mobile, telecoms or retail industries — ideally within subscription‑based businesses.
- People management experience of a large team (ideally 3 or more), demonstrating performance improvements.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent in relevant field.
Desirable
- Practical, execution‑level involvement in an ESP migration, ideally Salesforce Marketing Cloud (e.g., data mapping, workflow rebuilds, QA, cutover support).
- Alternative channels – WhatsApp & RCS
