In this newly created role, the CRM Manager will be accountable for formulating and delivering the Currys Credit CRM strategies, maximising product acquisition, growth and retain opportunities across various highly personalised customer journeys that drives improved credit sales, repeat spend and NPS.

 

Focusing  on opportunities to cross-sell and upsell through a range of life stages, developing multi-channel strategies including Email, push and DM.

 

We are passionate about technology, and as the eyes and ears of the customer our role is to champion customer insight across the business to deliver a customer centric CRM programme. As such you will work closely with Customer Data, Analytics & Insight teams as well as Agencies, Commercial Categories & Services teams. All core functions that go into creating hyper-targeted communication programmes to customers at every stage of their technology lifecycle. 

 

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone wanting to work within a growth area of a fast-paced retail business. who can bring an excellent knowledge of CRM and understands the right balance between customer, commercial and brand levers to use to deliver against revenue and customer objectives.

 

Role overview:

As part of this role, you'll be responsible for:

  • CRM Financial Services Strategy - Develop and test credit spend and engagement opportunities, integrating third-party customer journeys to optimise outcomes
  • End-to-End Programme Ownership - Lead complex, multi-stage CRM programmes with self-serve journeys that reduce friction, manual intervention, and drive credit product adoption
  • Technology & Personalisation - Partner with technology teams to build Salesforce and dynamic content platforms (e.g. Moveable Ink) for real-time, 1:1 personalised communications at scale
  • Customer Journey Management - Own workflows across email, push, Direct Mail, app, and microsite channels to deliver seamless customer experiences
  • Credit Reporting & Data Insights - Accelerate credit reporting capabilities and conduct end-to-end data mapping to assess credit data, propensity models, and CRM marketing opportunities
  • Acquisition & Retention - Improve financial services product acquisition through targeted insights, reduce dormancy, and enhance retention and welcome programmes
  • Brand & Marketing Alignment - Identify joint brand marketing opportunities, conduct gap analysis, and champion the CRM Strategic Framework as the Subject Matter Expert
  • Testing & Customer-First Culture - Create testing plans for products, language, and offers; advocate for customer-first mindset and ensure the CRM team understands how to leverage technology and data effectively

 

You will need:

  • Leadership & Team Management - Strong leadership and motivational skills with proven experience managing and developing junior team members
  • CRM Strategy & Self-Serve Design - Proven expertise developing strategy for large, complex CRM programmes and designing self-serve customer journeys that empower customers and reduce manual intervention
  • Technology Proficiency - Hands-on experience with Salesforce and automation/dynamic content technology (e.g. Moveable Ink) to deliver hyper-personalised customer journeys at scale
  • Commercial & Data-Driven Mindset - Commercially focused and data-driven approach with strong analytical ability, while maintaining customer-first decision-making and understanding of CRM/analytical systems
  • Communication & Delivery Excellence - Exceptional communication, presentation and organisational skills with strong focus on delivery, attention to detail, and track record of meeting commercial targets
  • Stakeholder Influence & Collaboration - Strong influencing skills to drive agenda with senior stakeholders; excellent team player with strong interpersonal abilities
  • Data Marketing & CRM Experience - Demonstrable experience in data marketing/CRM including email marketing across retention, re-engagement and acquisition with large customer databases; retail experience essential
  • Qualifications & Creative Evaluation - Marketing or business degree or equivalent preferred; ability to evaluate creative objectively while championing customer's best interests
