Profit Protection Payments and Projects Analyst

To support the Profit Protection team to be able to self-serve payment and other related data from structured data tables by ensuring current reporting is fit for purpose and to assist in the offshoring of data processes to third party Infosys and in the move of Profit Protection data from current repository to Unity Catalog.

 

Role overview:

 

As part of this role, you'll be responsible for:

  • Produce, and enhance existing, accurate, timely and relevant MI as required by the Profit Protection team
  • Define and produce a roadmap for Azure data integration. Including building user tables in Databricks and Unity Catalog for the Profit Protection team to self serve data for intelligence
  • Prioritise and deliver process maps for transfer of data ingestion from Profit Protection Team to Infosys
  • Support and guide Infosys to conduct tasks to required standard in a timely manner
  • Maintaining confidentiality and observing data protection guidelines
  • Document and articulate MI processes to support future troubleshooting and process enhancements
  • Adhering to company data governance standards

 

 

You will need:

  • Strong working knowledge of Azure and integration across Currys
  • SQL experience preferably in Databricks and specific to designing, optimising and validating queries
  • Experience in MI collation and report writing
  • Ability to approach problems in a thorough, holistic and logical manner considering all downstream impacts
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Able to present solutions and influence
  • Strong data mining ability with some experience in SQL, DAX, Databricks, Azure, PowerBI and Excel
  • Python experience preferred but not essential
