As an Intelligent Analyst for eCommerce, you will support profit protection across the Currys estate in the UK and Ireland. Your focus will be on mitigating fraud, loss, and courier-related issues within the online business. You will deliver actionable intelligence, lead audits, and provide recommendations to improve profitability across eCommerce and non-stock holding cost centres.

 

Role overview:

 

As part of this role, you'll be responsible for:

 

 

  • Delivering intelligence products and strategic assessments to inform eCommerce profit protection decisions.
  • Conducting monthly audits across eCommerce operations and non-stock holding cost centres, analysing results to identify drivers of loss and opportunities for improvement.
  • Leading analysis of returns fraud and courier loss, visiting warehouses as needed, and ensuring controls are proportionate, effective, and operationally practical.
  • Working closely with Fraud Operations, Supply Chain, and B2B eCommerce teams to recommend continuous improvements and mitigate financial losses.
  • Supporting civil recovery cases and conducting key control processes, including DPA requests related to eCommerce transactions.
  • Promoting and supporting the use of Auror for fraud monitoring and reporting across the online business.
  • Collaborating with leadership to drive actionable insights, enhance audit effectiveness, and strengthen profit protection measures.

 

 

 

You will need:

 

 

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, problem solving, and providing actionable solutions.
  • Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI.
  • Accuracy, logical reasoning, and lateral thinking to address complex loss and fraud challenges.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to balance risk with business priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in fraud, intelligence, or investigations preferred but not essential.
