We’re iD Mobile - the virtual mobile network, brought to you by Currys. Since launching in 2015, we’ve become one of the fastest-growing mobile networks in the UK, with 2.3 million subscribers and counting!

Even though we're a separate brand from Currys, we're a part of the same family. They're a bit like an older sibling - without the dodgy hand-me-downs! Operations

The Operations team oversees processes, systems, and service delivery. iD customers benefit from the power of 5G, iD Operations are accountable for assuring the service behind that network and delivering the latest customer offerings. This team also leverages cutting-edge cloud technology and data engineering to drive business insights, shape future customers offerings, and protect against security threats, all while maintaining daily operational continuity and implementing strategic changes.

Customer and Marketing

The Customer & Marketing team focuses on supporting customers across all stages of the customer cycle, increasing brand awareness and finding ways to stand out from the competition. Some of the ways they achieve this is by identifying and resolving customer pain points, managing efficient contact centre operations, encouraging self-service through product improvements, developing branding and messaging, and delivering impactful marketing campaigns. Their goal is to build strong relationships with users and promote the company’s offerings.

Commercial

The Commercial & Strategy team plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of our business - driving strategic direction, managing key partnerships, and ensuring regulatory excellence. They work at the intersection of commercial insight and long-term planning, from negotiating contracts to collaborating with UK regulatory bodies. It’s a dynamic, supportive environment where your ideas matter, and your work directly influences the success of the company.

Trading

The Trading team focuses on the day-to-day performance of the business, tracking key metrics like sales volume, revenue, and profit margin. This includes the Retentions team, which uses data to personalise customer experiences and drive loyalty. It also includes the Acquisitions team, who focus on acquiring new customers through strategic pricing and promotions across various channels, all while balancing commercial analytics with customer and stakeholder collaboration.

Online

This area manages the digital customer journey across the website and online sales platforms. They optimise user experience, drive online conversions, and maintain digital content and performance. The team ensures iD Mobile’s online presence is intuitive, engaging, and commercially effective. Within this business area you’ll find teams such as Affiliates & PPC, Digital Insights, Ecommerce, and UX/I.
