Are you passionate about developing people and sharing technical expertise? As a Technical Trainer, you’ll play a key role in our nationwide home delivery and in-home repairs operation. With four dedicated training academies in Bristol, Bolton, Newark, and Tilbury, you’ll deliver hands-on, practical training that empowers our teams to provide exceptional service to customers across the UK.

 

You’ll welcome new starters and upskill existing colleagues, equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and behaviours needed to deliver, install, and repair large domestic appliances—helping customers enjoy amazing technology in their homes. Beyond technical training, you’ll also support essential learning such as Driver CPC, manual handling, and first aid courses.

 

This is a field-based role, primarily based at our Bristol Training Academy, with travel across our network to deliver training and support development projects when required.

Role overview:

As part of this role, you’ll be responsible for:
 

  • Delivering engaging induction, compliance, and technical training for new colleagues joining our home delivery and repair network.
  • Providing ongoing training on the delivery and installation of large domestic appliances, inspiring colleagues to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
  • Collaborating with the Training Manager to identify needs, design solutions, and continuously improve training aligned with business priorities.
  • Working closely with sites and management teams to plan, organise, and coordinate training sessions that support operational success.
  • Contributing to wider training initiatives across the business. 

 

You will need:

 

  • Hands-on experience in a technical field (e.g., appliance delivery and installation, service engineering, or repair technician roles).
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate learners.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • A flexible, organised approach to managing your own workload.
  • A full UK car driving licence and willingness to travel.
