Our Supply Chain Apprenticeships

Supply Chain is the motor that keeps our business moving. Our team here makes sure we have all the latest products in our stores, they get them delivered, installed and operating smoothly in our customers’ homes, and can even fix them when things go wrong. On a Supply Chain Apprenticeship you can train to become a Driver, a Gas Engineer or a Repair Technician, as well as having opportunities to move into management.

Drivers

Our Drivers don’t just drop and go. They install, set up and demo the goods they deliver – and our Apprenticeship will give you all the skills you need to do just that. It’s a 15-month mix of classroom and on-the-job learning where we not only support and train you to qualify for your class C1 licence, we also make sure you get the know-how to install all the latest tech. It’s not easy though, and you’ll find that parts of the role are physically demanding. So come prepared for some heavy lifting.

Gas Engineers

This is a chance to develop all the knowledge needed to install the latest gas cookers, ovens and hobs. And to do it while delivering the very best customer service right in our customers’ homes. On this 24-month Apprenticeship, you’ll get a real mix of on-the-job training and classroom learning, and you’ll gain a professional qualification too.

As with all our Apprenticeships, you’ll also gain lots of transferable skills, such as problem-solving and customers service, that will be useful wherever your career ends up taking you.

White Goods Engineers

This is an 18-month mix of on-the-job training supervised by a qualified White Goods Engineer, combined with time in the classroom. Think of it as theory and practical coming together perfectly to give you all the know-how to install and repair the latest smart appliances, plus great customer service skills. What’s more, you’ll also walk away with a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Electrical, Electronic, Product Service & Installation Engineering.

Repairs Technicians

On this 15-18 month apprenticeship, you’ll be based in Newark – at the biggest repairs centre in Europe! If you’re fascinated by how things work, and enjoy working with tech, this is the place for you. You’ll become an expert at diagnosing and repairing a wide range of electrical devices – from laptops to the latest smartphones. It will be a hands-on experience where you won’t just be learning new technical skills every day, you’ll also be developing plenty of other transferable skills that will be useful wherever your career takes you.
