We have an exciting opportunity for a Colleague Innovation Lead to play a pivotal role in shaping our innovation agenda and embedding a culture of continuous improvement through The Pitch, our colleague idea-sharing platform. You’ll ensure that colleague-driven innovation is not only encouraged but harnessed to drive tangible business impact.
Working on a hybrid basis, you’ll regularly visit our other sites across the UK.

 

Role overview:

 

As part of this role, you'll be responsible for:

 

  • Leading our approach to idea management, ensuring alignment with long-term business objectives and continuous improvement strategies
  • Partnering with senior leaders and managers to prioritise, champion, and secure resources for high-impact ideas that drive measurable benefits
  • Expanding The Pitch’s influence across business units, ensuring cross-functional collaboration and adoption of ideas at scale
  • Developing and maintaining comprehensive metrics that track idea adoption, financial benefits, and organisational impact, providing regular insights to teams
  • Utilising advanced analytics to inform strategic direction, improve processes, and identify future opportunities for innovation investment

 

 

 

You will need:

 

  • Demonstrable success in leading organisational improvement projects or innovation initiatives
  • Familiarity with data analysis and reporting, particularly for tracking benefits and measuring outcomes
  • Prior success working across multiple business units to drive shared objectives and promote collaborative innovation
  • Ability to nurture ideas, work through complex concepts, and turn them into actionable plans
  • Competence in gathering and incorporating feedback to enhance the platform and colleague experience

  • Hands-on experience with tools or platforms designed for idea management and collaboration
