As Data Service Delivery Manager you will be accountable for the end-to-end delivery of IT Services across the full stack for Data Platforms and Services. Providing clear, communicated ownership for all business facing Services within the Data portfolio. Your accountability will span both business and senior IT stakeholder management, covering operational delivery, availability, stability and readiness. 

 

Role overview:

 

Responsibilities Include; 

•    Maintaining positive and proactive relationships with senior business and IT stakeholders 
•    Establishing effective communication between stakeholders 
•    Providing accurate and regular reports to the management on performance of the service delivery
•    Be the advocate for the business and IT operations teams. 
•    Identifying business needs and oversee service delivery within the service tower
•    Prioritise workload and resolve conflict
•    Turning data into information and knowledge communicate to senior leadership
•    Understands Contractual and Commercial Terms of services delivered into their tower

 

 

You will Maintain performance and availability for the applications and systems that support an enterprise of c30k colleagues and generating c£5B revenues. 

 

 

Required Skills & Experience: 


•    Background in Data and Business Intelligence
•    Specific knowledge and Experience in Azure Data technologies
•    A background in Retail desirable
•    Specific Service Tower Domain Knowledge, Experience & Expertise
•    IT Support and Operations experience
•    Experience of working in a hybrid team
•    Experience of working with 3rd Party support teams and strategic Partners
•    Experience of working in an ITIL based environment
