Senior Culture and Inclusion Manager

We are now looking for a skilled operator to work alongside our Head of Culture and Inclusion to build on the great progress we have made over the last four years and supercharge our Inclusion and
Diversity strategy.
This role also includes ownership of the Colleague Listening Strategy. We believe the better we listen, the better we become. Role overview:
Inclusion and Diversity (circa 75%)
• Deliver our I&D strategy: Work in collaboration with key internal stakeholders to deliver our core strategic priorities. Establish key measures and metrics to monitor progress against each of our priority initiatives and communicate progress
• Engage our Colleagues: Own the Culture and Inclusion calendar, and leverage key moments throughout the year to celebrate and raise awareness of I&D across the business. Also support all employee networks providing strategic support, thought leadership, operational guidance &
facilitate good practice sharing across the networks. Also take the lead on submissions for awards and benchmarks
• Upskill leaders: Work in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external agencies to develop programmes that build inclusive leadership capability
• Embed Inclusive practices: Work in collaboration with the People Team to ensure that that Culture and Inclusion matters are embedded into all HR and business processes and policy development
• Communicate and Report progress: Monitor, analyze and report on diversity and inclusion metrics (e.g. CEO monthly board report, company annual report, Gender Pay Gap report, and support submissions for other regulatory reporting such as Parker Review and FTSE female leaders). Benchmark and research trends, policy and analytics on diversity and inclusion topics
Colleague Engagement (circa 25%)
• Deliver our suite of core listening activity: work with our survey platform and services provider (Viva-Glint) to ensure effective delivery of engagement surveys and related insights. Work closely with our People Operations team who manage day to day operation of survey platform and reporting, and internal communications team who own deliver of pre/during/post survey communications.
• Engage Leaders: work with external partner to develop insights reviews following each survey, delivering presentations and facilitating follow up discussion with People Leaders/HRBPS and supporting CPO/Director of Comms and Culture in delivering insights reviews and discussion to Executive Committee
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven track record of leading development and implementation of I&D strategies in matrixed/lean organisations. Able to show a deep knowledge and understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion concepts and issues in a professional setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate conversations about Culture and inclusion, and to develop relationships with individuals from various backgrounds and experiences.
- Leadership skills to guide diversity initiatives, influence organizational culture, and drive change.
- Able to bring outside trends and best practices to inform strategic approaches which are relevant and appropriate for the business
- Able to bring in different perspectives and information to engage and influence others and where necessary overcome resistance to change
- Highly proficient and effective in communicating verbally and in preparation of materials in various formats (reports/papers/presentations)
- Effective at navigating and working in a matrix organisation where success is often dependent on actions of others, being able to collaborate effectively is vital to this role
- 5+ years of experience in a diversity and inclusion role.
- Significant experience in developing and implementing diversity and inclusion strategies, leading
- training and education initiatives, and influencing organizational culture
