Retail Media Manager

We are investing in building our Retail Media capabilities and propositions, having launched Currys Connected Media and a range of propositions in the last year. The role of Retail Media Manager sits within our Currys Connected Media team. The purpose of the role is to enable growth from our retail media activities and to deliver the strategy we have set out for Currys Connected Media.

 

You will be responsible for:


•    Responsible for supporting the Retail Media Senior Manager in the creation of a brand level budget across all Retail Media channels (onsite, offsite, stores, insight) to meet budgets
•    Work with Retail Media Project Manager to identify necessary infrastructure (people/process/technology) to deliver underlying tech and organisational change required to meet budgets
•    Responsible for prioritising activity with supplier and non-supplier brands to maximise income
•    Work with Retail Media teams to create, own, plan and manage roadmap of initiatives and continuous improvements
•    Communication and Stakeholder management – work with Retail Media Senior Manager to manage and direct effective stakeholder relationships across multiple groups to achieve buy-in (commercial focus)
•    Work with Currys Connected Media Partners to embed into the business ways of working and realise potential
•    Be an Advocate and Evangelist for Currys Connected Media internally and with 3rd party suppliers and Brands
•    Support the Retail Media team in ensuring that key 3rd party delivery teams are meeting and exceeding targets
•    Support the periodic reforecasting, working with Retail Media team and finance business partners to ensure accuracy and simplicity of communication
•    Provide post-sales support to internal and external stakeholders including commercial teams and brand advertisers across campaign performance and campaign delivery KPIs


Required Skills & Experience: 


•    Retail Media monetisation experience 
•    Working within marketing teams in outward / brand facing role
•    Working in x-functional team and liaison with many other teams e.g. legal, infosec, online, commercial, 3rd parties etc
•    Working in commercial environment in areas involving negotiation 
•    Marketing technologies and ecommerce
•    Ideally experience in online display or retail media sales including account management experience and managing media budgets
•    Experience of data and insight monetisation
•    Experience working with site analytics and attribution tools
•    Experience with Google Ad Manager and/or Criteo
•    Demonstrable ability to achieve against sales targets.
