As a Lead Delivery Manager in Technology, you will be responsible for delivering high-value, complex initiatives across all areas of technology. You will work in collaboration with the business to understand their needs, drive results and deliver excellence. 

 

As part of this role, you’ll be responsible for:

 

•    Lead and manage the delivery of multiple technology initiatives, ranging from £3-7m, across different domains and platforms 
•    Establish and maintain effective relationships with the business stakeholders, understand their requirements, and ensure that the initiatives deliver value and meet their expectations 
•    Define and implement the delivery strategy, approach, and plan, and ensure that initiatives follow the best practices and standards of project management 
•    Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, resources, communication, and risks, and proactively resolve any issues or conflicts that arise 
•    Coordinate and collaborate with the delivery teams, third parties, and other delivery managers
•    Provide regular and transparent reporting and status updates to the senior management and governance boards
•    Drive the adoption of agile and lean methodologies, tools, and techniques

 

As we have recently we relaunched our credit product as Currys flexpay, and with plans to introduce many new features for our customers, we are searching for Lead Delivery Manager in Technology to manage the day to day delivery of key projects and initiatives and engagement with our 3rd parties

 

 

You will need:

 

•    Ideally 5+ years experience and proven track record of delivering complex and high-value technology initiatives across different domains and common enterprise-scale technology platforms  
•    Background in finance and experience of operating in a heavily regulated environment
•    Experience of delivery in large complex organisations
•    Strong knowledge and understanding of the technology landscape, trends, and best practices    
•    Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
•    Knowledge of programme organisation structures and proven ability to build teams who are set up for success
•    Experience and ownership of budget and financial benefits tracking for initiatives >£3m
