The Currys Digital Data Team develops and maintains the digital data that allows the eCommerce teams to provide the reporting, insights and analytics to improve business performance and online customer experiences in line with our 5 strategic pillars.

 

The Digital Analytics Developer is responsible for the development and maintenance of our digital data, working closely with digital product developers and analysts, as well as our 3rd Party agencies.  The role will own the definition of data requirements and testing against those requirements, ensuring that quality data products are developed and deployed in line with the sprint plans.

Role overview:

Key Role Responsibilities:
•    Own the Product Development Lifecycle for Digital Data, ensuring that the data capture requirements are well defined, understood by all, and documented.
•    Support the oversight of our 3rd Party Data Agencies, ensuring that projects and tasks are delivered to time, specification and within budget.
•    Work closely with the wider Digital Analytics Team and eCommerce colleagues to understand their data use cases and act as translator between technical data and the end users.
•    Own the resolution of any digital data incidents, updating impacted users on remedial actions.
•    Seek opportunities to improve our data processes, including supporting strategic projects, such as migrating cookies to server-side; unlocking Salesforce data; and collaboration with Central Data Office teams

 

Key Skills, Qualifications & Experience
•    Knowledge of Development Lifecycle processes
•    Experience with Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics
•    Experience with Adobe Launch or Google Tag Manager or similar
•    Experience with coding languages such as SQL and Python
•    Experience with visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Studio 
•    Experience using Jira / Github
