We are currently in search of a Trading Director to join the Leadership Team at iD Mobile

The successful candidate will develop and retain a highly skilled and commercial trading team, supported by excellent analytics and insight (BI), including market and customer trends. You will have ownership of trading activities for iD mobile across all trading categories and channels to market: (a) Trading plan and Pricing strategy, (b) Collaboration with Group Mobile, Marketing, GTM and customer across channels (within both iD and Group), (c) Fraud and credit strategy to optimise customer quality.

This exciting role leads the iD Trading team and has responsibility for defining the trading plan and iD’s pricing policy to ensure we continue to innovate and grow. 

iD Mobile is one of the fastest growing MVNOs ever in the UK market. We quickly grew to over 1.6 million subscribers as a disruptive new entrant, levering our unique position as the only network owned by Currys (a FTSE 250 company). iD is one of the main strategic growth opportunities for Currys, underpinning its mobile category.  

As part of this role, you’ll be responsible for: 
•    Leading two teams responsible for trading performance; acquisition, retention and In-life for iD mobile across all channels.
•    Driving the engagement and enablement of the team to deliver budget, growth KPIs, optimisation of trading levers and P&L performance.
•    Delivering the retention strategy for customer base to maximise customer lifetime value. 
•    Developing customer segmentation & investment strategy by segment
•    Developing & adapting propositions to drive retention growth, churn minimisation and margin
•    The development of buying relationships and manufacturer partnerships to deliver margin (incremental to group). 
•    Budgeting and short-term forecasting for trading. 
•    Ensuring the team culture and ways of working is setup for success and development of the team.

You will need:
•    Credibility and ability to present and work with the iD Leadership Team
•    Knowledge of trading and commercial levers in Telco​​​​​​
•    To be strong collaborators and able to influence 
•    Finance experience and/or qualifications
•    Entrepreneurial in spirit
