London

Permanent

Full time

Grade 2

£28,500

Our passion at Currys is helping everyone enjoy the latest tech. And our Technology, Data and Transformation team is working at the forefront of change to constantly optimise the customer experience and drive our future success. Our data mission is to collect, protect and use data to help everyone enjoy amazing technology.  And to help us achieve our goals, we’re looking for the brightest talent to join our Data Graduate programme.

About the role

Our three-year programme allows you to specialise from day one and kick-start your career in a collaborative, supportive team. You’ll start out with three six-month rotations across Data Business Analysis, Data Delivery and Data Governance & Privacy. Within these areas you’ll learn how to perform discrete analysis activities across the E2E lifecycle of a data programme and support the Data delivery and Governance capabilities in delivering our internal programmes.

In your fourth six-month rotation, you’ll have an opportunity to try something new or explore an area you’re passionate about. Finally, in year three, you’ll do a deeper dive into that specialism and have the chance to work towards a Level 7 Apprenticeship.

Along the way you’ll develop a wealth of new skills, including:

  • High level scoping
  • Process mapping and re-engineering
  • Project planning and tracking
  • Workshop facilitation
  • Understanding of general data protection regulation
  • Data operations tools

You’ll also have access to essential teaching resources and the support of a network of experienced colleagues to help you decide where you want to go next, whether that be developing your skills further in a role such as Junior Business Analyst or Project Manager, or building your experience as a Data Operations Analyst.

About you

Driving everything you do with us will be a passion about our business, our customers and our technology. You’ll be shaping our future as much as your own.

You will need:

  • A minimum of a 2:1 degree in a Technology degree (i.e. Data, Computer Science, Statistics or Mathematics)
  • Both theoretical and practical experience in data
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Experience adapting to new situations and challenges

  • Product discounts on the latest tech
