Senior GTM Manager (Windows, Apple, Chromebook & Tablets)

We are market leader in the Computing hardware area, which includes Windows, Chrome & Apple operating systems and also our Android tablet business. However there still remains a huge opportunity for us to continue to grow, and we are increasingly looking to innovate and differentiate our range and proposition across the area coupled with a thorough understanding of our customers’ needs and reasons for purchase. We work closely with the biggest global brands, including Microsoft, Apple, Google and Intel as well as key brands such as HP, Lenovo, Samsung among others, and the successful applicant will be able to deliver key projects, objectives and propositions which align closely to brand, customer and category objectives.
 
Sitting within the commercial category, this is an exciting opportunity to lead our category strategy in a fast-paced and ever-changing area supporting the three focus areas of customer, supplier and marketing.
 
Key responsibilities:
•    Take the lead on key supplier marketing relationships, working closely with a range of different brands and partners to design and deliver marketing plans across all channels, both above the line and owned channel executions
•    Work closely with the buying team to understand key commercial levers such as revenue, profit & growth, ensuring the marketing plans meet these briefs
•    Be the champion for delivering a great customer experience & shopping journey in all channels, challenging both the category team and key stakeholders to drive improvements as well as bringing appropriate insight and analytics to help support and deliver key category & customer propositions in this area
•    Help to shape the category strategy & key priorities, working closely with stakeholders to develop and deliver the right propositions across all relevant channels
•    Understand and integrate the product and technology roadmap from key partners to ensure we bring new technologies to market in the most effective ways for both brand and customer
•    Lead and develop a direct report as well as a manage stakeholders at all levels to ensure you champion our strategy both internally and externally
 
Key skills desirable for the role:
•    Strong commercial acumen – able to understand key revenue & profit drivers as well as campaign ROI and customer insight data
•    Ability to create mutually beneficial marketing plans for both customer, supplier and Currys through a range of different channels
•    Proven track record of building internal and external relationships at all levels
•    Excellent communication, leadership, influencing and negotiation skills
