Finance Business Partner - Mobile

The Mobile Commercial Finance team are business partners for the Chief Commercial Officer's function, supporting the performance and delivery from the Mobile Squad. This position will play a pivotal role in the delivery of the Mobile business unit outcomes through managing the performance update process that identifies key opportunities and challenges. You will be responsible for managing the forecasting process, ensuring clear communication of expected outcomes to stakeholders, and actively challenging forecasts to enhance accuracy.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the production of the Mobile Squad weekly and monthly performance packs, engaging with stakeholders to report on key metrics driving performance, trend analysis and driving continuous improvement in quality
  • Thoroughly review forecasted Mobile project expenditure with the programme team and work with the Mobile Finance Business Partner and Head of Finance to ensure proposed submission aligns with project plans and an accurate reflection of cash out expectations
  • Manage the monthly forecasting and 3YP/budgeting process, incorporating current and future year P&L and Cash impacts from Mobile Trading performance. Including determining the timelines, review sessions with the Mobile SLT and setting the clear deliverables to the team
  • Collaborate with the iD Mobile Finance Business Partner to consolidate submissions and present consolidated Mobile outcomes to Head of Finance and Commercial Finance Director
  • Enhance your understanding of the Mobile business categories & channels and leverage this knowledge to actively question and influence the Mobile squad/SLT during performance and forecast updates
  • Take ownership of specific tasks/issues/opportunities to facilitate the achievement of business outcomes within the CLC channel and Multiplay business unit
  • Work with Mobile Finance Business Partner to identify opportunities to automate and transition reporting activities to the Infosys CoE reporting function

 

Required Experience:

  • Strong commercial acumen, adept at comprehending complex business areas, and skilled in identifying opportunities and areas for improvement
  • Capable of building strong relationships with Finance and non-Finance stakeholders, exert influence and provide constructive challenges
  • Able to communicate with senior stakeholders to articulate complex messages in a compelling manner via all means of communication
  • Proven track record of delivering end to end solutions in a planned and controlled manner
  • Resilient and able to deliver results in a high-pressure environment
  • Robust organisational skills, capable of meeting stringent deadlines while maintaining a meticulous focus on high attention to detail
  • Excellent system skills including Excel, Business Objects, Essbase and SAP

 

Qualifications:

  • Recognised Accountancy Qualification - ACA, CIMA or ACCA
  • PQE - 1 – 2 years
